  • At The Tree Works we can assist with any hedge related maintenance from hedge trimming to dealing with seriously overgrown hedges and hedge removal.

    ​We always take care to adhere to Section 1 of the Wildlife & Country Act to ensure that nesting wild birds are protected. We will advise you on the best times of year to work on your hedges. Generally it is best to avoid any work from mid-February to mid-August.

    ​Hedge maintenance can be carried out either as a one-off service or on a regular basis.

  • After a tree is felled the stumps should ideally be removed to prevent them forming new shoots or fungus developing in their roots. In addition, they are unsightly and can be an obstruction for other landscaping or planting.

    ​At The Tree Works we have the training and equipment to access stumps in hard to reach areas and remove all associated debris without damaging the surrounding areas.

    ​Customers may also choose to have the grindings back filled into the ground if desired, as this provides an excellent mulch product.
